Mission of the National Wrestling Officials Association (NWOA) is to provide training and support to our officials in their pursuit of becoming the best in their field through elevating our officials in their craft to make the correct call using proficient knowledge of the rules. Ensure that every customer is confident that the events will be handled with the upmost professionalism by our members.
The National Wrestling Officials Association (NWOA) is an association built with many top-level (NCAA & Varsity) officials from Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania that are ready to build an organization that is all about helping officials grow in this field and get assigned to larger events that you might not have the opportunity to today.
This is a high school varsity level organization. We will assign all the Tyrant, MIS, and few more top level tournaments coming soon (finalizing a Disney Duals qualifier). These events range from 16 mats to 73 mats and will ensure you get exposure to officials and evaluators from all over the U.S.
NWOA is planning on holding its annual rules clinic each September, where featured speakers, such as NCAA D1 championship officials and evaluators to offer insights on new rules for the coming season, proper mechanics, and training techniques. Our clinics are open to all officials, regardless of their affiliation with another association (fee for attending if not a part of NWOA).
Member dues are used to help support our member officials with providing training opportunities, evaluators and awards at end of the year. Membership in NWOA is open to any wrestling official or simply interested in becoming a wrestling official or improving their officiating skills.
